Our Digital Dentistry Services
Cone Beam CT
We’ve upgraded the sensor (increased FoV) and software of our in-house Planmeca Romexis Cone Beam CT system. This upgrade allows us to get CT images with a higher resolution with lower doses of radiation, with a new and upgraded sensor that has an FoV to a maximum volume of Ø20 x 17 cm. These images will help with diagnosis and treatment planning.
Digital Smile Design
Patients seeking smile makeovers can preview what their new smile will look like with Digital Smile Design (DSD). With DSD, the dentist can demonstrate the predictable results to the patient (before and after), resulting in increased case acceptance.
3D Printers and Intra-oral Scanners
Our practice now features a range of 3D printers and Trios 3 Shape and Medit intra-oral scanners to allow implant planning and surgical guides. These guides can allow predictable implant placement and pre-fabrication of prosthetics.
Model Scans in 3D
Modern 3D model scanning is a feature available for every Planmeca ProMax® 3D unit3. It allows impressions and plaster casts to be scanned with the CBCT unit, to create a surface model without an intra-oral scanner. An STL file of the surface model can be used to plan treatments.
Low Dose CBCT Imaging
Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ is the leading method for acquiring CBCT images at a low patient dose. You can use it with all voxel sizes and imaging modes—at an even lower dose than panoramic imaging.
Dedicated Endodontic Imaging
Image quality holds considerable significance, but is made up of small things. Our endodontic imaging mode is ideal for capturing small anatomical details. It offers an exceptionally high resolution with a voxel size of 75 μm.
